Thomas Fortin has collaborated with world-renowned braces / suspenders maker Albert Thurston to produce these beautiful handmade ivory moire braces with red leather runner ends.
Albert Thurston, credited with inventing the modern form of braces, began making them in Haymarket, London in 1820 and celebrated their 200th anniversary year in 2020. Together we have designed these standout pair to complement and enhance any suited ensemble.
Our moire braces are made from 50% cotton/50% nylon and woven in England. The leather runner ends use 100% bovine leather from Italy for a refined and beautiful finish.
This cream moire has the most beautiful sheen! Pair this with your black or white tie ensemble, or match them underneath your amazing pinstripe three peice suit! Equally formal and everyday this combo with the red bovine leather ends will definitely be the talk of the town if glimpsed under the suit jacket. Did you know the moire patteren was originally heat set on silk or cotton using a roller engraved with the pattern itself!
