The rise of English sparkling wine over recent years has in part been driven by wine producers such as Roebuck Estates. No longer is English sparkling wine looked down on. England now produces some of the world's finest sparkling wines.
Roebuck Estates strives to perfect fine wines that are truly world class. The Sussex countryside is where Roebuck Estates call home and are passionate about crafting English produce to be proud of. In recent years winning many awards including Best in Show at the World Wine Awards and Gold at the International Wine Challenge. They are on a mission to produce exceptional quality vintage wines in England.
Situated in the heart of the South Downs National Park, their vineyards are a natural habitat for an extraordinary collection of wildflowers, deer, hare, birds and so much more. They are committed to minimising their environmental impact and maximising conservation and biodiversity. To this point they are founding members of the Sustainable Wines of Great Britain (SWGB) certification scheme and continue to build on our sustainable credentials where they possibly can.
During the winter months Roebuck Estates bring in a flock of Sussex sheep who act as natural lawnmowers happily grazing on the grass in-between the vines rows. By doing this, they are able to reduce their tractor usage and minimise our environmental impact. Vintage English wine in perfect harmony with these sceptred isles.
