Bronte by Moon is the public face and brand of Abraham Moon. Designed to let more people experience the quality of their fabrics. Abraham Moon have be making beautiful British yarns and tweeds since 1837. They are one of the last remaining vertical mills left in Britain. in Layman’ terms a vertical mill is one in which every part of the process in making yarn or tweed is done all under one roof. From dyers, weavers and spinners all creating a community of master craftsmen and women. Which create scarfs of a superior quality.

The Abraham Moon mill is in the Yorkshire town of Guiseley just outside of Leeds on the fringes of the Yorkshire dales. And has a long and illustrious heritage when it comes to creating yarns and tweeds of distinction. And are rightly proud of their British craft heritage. Creating fabrics for the likes of the National Trust, Burberry and Ralph Lauren. Being set at the bottom of the Yorkshire Dales means the mill has an abundance of natural soft water which is perfect for the start of the creation of their fabrics. Which have a global reputation for consistent quality is second to none.

The scarfs are named after many of the towns around Britain. From the tartan of Edinburgh to the check of Salisbury. And the block colour scarfs are simple yet classic and add a touch of class to any outfit. They are not bulky so tuck into a jacket comfortably but are beautifully warm.
