These beeswax candles, created in small batches by Askew Candles in Darlington are made from moulds of original beer bottles. The Alnwick Brewery has been making beer of distinction since the 1860's in Alnwick, the capital of Northumbria in the North East of England. And these bottle candles evoke a sense of history of bottle making, when the intricate design was almost as important as the beer they held.
