Victory At Last Silk Pocket Square Medium

‘Victory At Last’ is inspired by classic motor racing and is a high quality medium sized Aston Martin silk pocket square with hand-rolled and hand-sewn hem. It is made in Macclesfield the traditional home of English silk printing and presented in a complimentary gift box. It was created in collaboration with leading ‘painter of speed’ John Ketchell whose original acrylic on canvas work was inspired by the famous moment in motorsport history when Aston Martin won Le Mans outright in 1959. In the race, the DBR1 of Roy Salvadori and Carroll Shelby finally achieved victory for Aston Martin which had entered every Le Mans since 1931. John’s semi-abstract impressionist style captures speed and drama at the same time as delivering accuracy of reproduction. The subject seems to burst into life.
'Victory At Last' is reproduced with a good balance of colour between the printed and reverse side of the silk pocket square which works perfectly with any pocket square fold. The artwork is framed by the pocket square’s pale green border and racing green hand-finished hem. The 'Victory At Last' silk pocket square makes an ideal gift for men especially those who are fans of classic motor racing or of Aston Martin. Inside each high-quality Otway & Orford branded gift box the pocket square has been carefully wrapped in tissue and is accompanied by a card telling the story of the artist and his artwork.
Made in Macclesfield.
